WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a heightened state of focus and suggestibility in which the body and conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state while the subconscious mind remains very alert and receptive to positive suggestions for change. People often refer to hypnosis as a “trance-like state,” where one can concentrate intensely on a specific thought, memory, feeling or sensation while blocking out distractions.
Hypnosis is a tool used to bypass the critical analysis of your mind so that the suggestions can be accepted and then incorporated into a new “automatic” behavior. While hypnosis can be used for personal benefit, it cannot cause you to do anything against your free will or ethics.
Therapeutic hypnosis is used to improve your health and well-being and is different from stage hypnosis that is used for entertainment purposes only.
WHAT IS NLP - Or Neurolinguistic Programming?
NLP is called, “The Language of Positive Change”. It was developed 30 years ago by it's psychotherapist founders by carefully studying the language patterns of hundreds of highly successful people; and contrasted them to hundreds of unsuccessful people – to learn the difference of their speech and thought patterns. The “mapping” of these patterns became known as our “Meta-Programs” ie, the language of your life. It's the way you see yourself and speak to yourself – as well as the way you see others and speak to them. And because it is a program we learned and developed, it can be rewritten.

How Many Sessions and How Long Does it Take?
A series of 5 sessions over 1 to 2 months is normally recommended and works most effectively.
