Despacho Medicine Wheel Ceremony
A Gateway Altar to the Spirit of Mount Shasta

Opening the doorway for Gratitude, Balance, and Renewal, this Medicine Wheel Despacho is more than a ritual—it is a living altar, a sacred prayer woven from your intentions, offerings, and dreams. Born of two great traditions—the Andean Despacho and the North American Medicine Wheel—and guided by the ancestral spirit of this mountain and river, this ceremony is a bridge: between your heart and the living presence of Mount Shasta.

Release old pain

Clarify your next steps

Amplify your spiritual path

This sacred Despacho ceremony offers a threshold: a place to let go, call in, and honor the sacred relationship between you and the Mountain.

Every person comes to Mount Shasta for a reason.

For some, it’s clear. For others, it’s a feeling they can’t explain—a pull from something greater. Wherever you are on your path, this ceremony opens a threshold. Here’s how it may speak to you:

• For the Seeker of Healing and Renewal
If you’re carrying grief, heartbreak, or old patterns you’re ready to release… if you’ve been walking through uncertainty and long to find clarity, or simply feel the need for a deeper connection to your true self—this ceremony offers a place to lay it all down. Here, you can wash away what no longer serves and open the way to vision, love, and a renewed sense of purpose.

• For the Spiritually Awake and Aligned
If you are already walking a conscious path and feel called to Mount Shasta for a higher connection—this is where that connection deepens. Together, we’ll honor the Spirit of the Mountain, call in its guardians, and open space for vision and expansion. This is an authentic, reverent way to experience Mount Shasta’s sacred places with a guide who will walk beside you, honoring your path and holding the ceremony that amplifies your spiritual purpose.

• For Those Who Carry the Native Soul
If you resonate with ancestral ways—whether through lineage or heart—and seek to honor the land and its spirit in a good way, this ceremony offers that space. We’ll call in the wisdom keepers, the ancestors, and the living presence of Mount Shasta as we create a prayer bundle together. This is more than a personal ceremony—it is an offering of respect and reciprocity to the Mountain and the spirits who still walk here.

The Ceremony Experience

Each prayer and gift you bring is placed with intention on a vibrant altar of natural elements, creating a bundle of gratitude, healing, and vision. At the close, this bundle is carried to a sacred place on the mountain and buried—rooting your prayers here for all time. Wherever you journey in life, this gift remains a thread that ties you to the spirit of Mount Shasta.

This offering is not a re-creation of tradition but a weaving of what has been entrusted to me to carry for over 15 years—through teachings from Andean priests and Native elders—with what is arising now, for you, in this moment. It is a prayer for renewal, a call to vision, and a doorway into your own soul’s unfolding.

Origins of This Medicine Wheel Ceremony:

After 15 years of learning the teachings of the Medicine Wheel under three Indigenous medicine men, instructing me on how to adopt them into my life and work as a teacher and transformational life coach, and then in 2009 being taught and commissioned by Andean priests to carry the Despacho ceremony, I was called to unite them. This union is the prophecy of Eagle and Condor—a weaving of two medicines into one ceremony of reciprocity, harmony, and transformation.

What Is the Medicine Wheel?

If you are new to the Medicine Wheel, it is a sacred map for living in balance—a model carried by Indigenous peoples of North America for countless generations. The Lakota Wheel I teach, combined with years of guidance from Native elders, offers profound insight into the cycles of life and the geometry of consciousness.
In this 4-hour ceremony, I will guide you through the Wheel, sharing teachings from each direction and inviting you to bring those insights into your own life.
